Yes growing older has it's own pain sometimes Taps as others pass on. At least they do have a nice family who look after them. Not always the case.

What a moving and sweet remembrance you just wrote....sadly, I dont' always see siblings so close but so miss having had one when I see something like this and hope my granddaughters will feel lilke this. She was blessed to have you watching after her descendants for her.
I so remember the comfort of holding onto a pillow, easing that vulnerability of just having had your chest opened up...coming to terms with knowng someone just held your heart in their hands. Holding tight to that pillow is an anchor to living.

I suspect that there is support from places we don't see
I wish Joel a quick return to pain-free life!

Praying that Joel can live to see his Grandchildren grow up after making a full recovery.
My parents died too just when their Grandchildren were about to blossom and missed seeing any great grandchildren born.

I can understand how he wants to be at home. My second son had open heart surgery when he was 21 and he was really wanting to be home. What a sweet family. I think it is a blessing from God when the other party in a loving relationship can do as your sister and BIL did join one another quickly. Be blessed dear lady.
