- Go to "JUST" IS A 4-LETTER WORD...EXCAVATION JOURNAL
The trouble is K. Folk can take so much. What is life and death to you may seem just like a problem to others. I suppose it depends on ones type of mind and experience. Indecision is a killer, I know I have lain awake with two options and churned them back and forth until one felt desperate. Finally the relief even if it was the wrong one to make was so soothing because it allowed one to get on with life. I wonder what actually did you do in the workplace?

There is a direct relationship between each person and their problems that no one else can 'just' fix. I may have gone through similar situations; however, I am the other component of the equation that makes it a different fix. Good luck to you. I shall pray for you with your permission.

I confess - I too have used that four-letter word on occasion, but only in trivial matters...

I have felt that way a time or two about certain advice that I received, especially when it as repetitve and the person dispensing the advice felt that the advice was the only way to go.

Sometimes it appears easy for people to give certain kinds of advice to others, but usually if it's something that they themselves have experienced. Personally, I would be somewhat at a loss to give anyone any kind of feedback on a situation I myself know very little about. For example, people will complain or lament about something they're dealing with concerning a child. I have no children, so what advice I could offer would be limited and one-dimensional. And I think that including the word 'just' within any advice offering probably oversimplifies the possible solution. It's rarely that easy . . .
