Dealing with the public can be a major source of aggravation. I have never had a customer throw anything at me, but I have had some "winners" of my own that I could write about here on Blogit.

Well, that was unnecessarily rude and insensitive! Yeah, I see people in a constant hurry all the time too. Most of the time it makes no sense whatsoever ( unless there's an actual emergency we're simply not aware of ). You have much more patience than I do, because I would have probably 'snapped,' grabbed that candy bar, chased that a**hole down, and shoved it down his throat . . .

I applaude you for the way you handled such an offensive act. I hope no such ever happens again. He is a rude inconsiderate person who has no self worth in his own eyes. I am sorry it happened.

I did figure this out myself...it's a sort of Murphy's law...but being hit by an irate customer for doing your job is just not acceptable. How dare someone hurt my twinny...I know it was some time ago but it still makes me mad.

He was lucky that he hit someone like you and not someone like my sister.  She would have jumped the counter and chased his butt all the way to his car.

I know LLM it is insane really but I always look and estimate which line will be quicker and then take into consideration one attendant who keeps chattering to the  customers and is aways so cheerful that I try to avoid her counter if I can. It is a form of supermarket madness. I do sympathize with you, but remember the customer is always right. Ha,ha.
