It is a nature picture from National Geographic of a hippo in the Nile River at sunset. It took me a while to see the hippo as I kept looking at the little fellows. HAHA. So I turned the pic up on its side for fun.

This brought to mind a time when my daughter was small and a trip to the KC Zoo...the hippo in the enclosure and it's mouth wide open resting on the surrounding rails...and folks tossing various foodstuffs into its' mouth...and then it would lift its' large head off and dissapear under the water, come back up and repeat. I'm sure that's been changed!
