Nautikos

I don't know if I could ever bear the cold long enough to witness these two sights for myself so thank you sooooo much for taking me there with this post...it was such FUN!  More, please

I would enjoy more about "Time".  Sometimes I wonder if I am running out of it.  Now, "If I could save time in a bottle, the first thing that I'd like to do...."  Of course ravens are fascinating too, "...and the Raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting on the pallid bust of Pallas just above my chamber door..."

Very touching as a story too, a really good post, "The old bugger can write when he wants too" Kabu says and I agree.

More good reads from a Geographers point of view would be: Collapse; by Jared

Diamond, and ''The World in 2050,'' Laurence Smith. For some reason I get the two

mixed up at times. Good read Naught.

Well it's obvious what had happened! Others who had done that same 'coffee experiment' had released massive amounts of caffeine into the atmosphere. The ravens got a whiff of it and, well, what else could they do with that excess energy except to belly rolls off that tower?

Now that book just went on MY 'must read' list!

This writer sounds very interesting and the subject even more. I love to watch animals at play. I have seen some playful activity from birds but nothing like that. It sounds so wonderful a very special sight to catch. I like all your posts both those I do and those I don't understand.

My Aunt Ella once married a bush pilot and lived in Kotzebue...

It sounded like an amazing place, esp. the Northern Lights. She talked about stacking her laundry outside to dry - it froze on contact with the air. And Ravens (and crows) are amazing birds. I've got a Raven Clan fetish on a silver chain that I wear at least a couple times a week.  Did I mention that I love this post and would like to read more, please.

That is an intriguing coffee experiment. I did not know it would do that...I imagine it was very neat for him to see those ravens playing...I myself am a Baltimore Ravens fan.

Great Post...actually I did enjoy your posts on time...even if I cannot grasp it, it stimulates the brain and I will always tease you so that's that....AND I never believe that you are innocent as you tried to portray in my post recently...You forget that I am good freinds with your BBGFriend!!!

It is -20 C here right now. Too cold for the broom ..and since living here have come to really appreciate the crows.
