Witty and wise – you make me chuckle and reflect at the same time. Strange as it may sound to most of those who read me – even I find it more congenial to ride in the centre lane than anywhere else. The reason that I am currently tending more to the right has to do with te fact that the left seems to resist recognizing problems that transcend the old categories, more so than the right…
As to the location of those moles – I am not the first one to observe that they are not really to be found at the extremes of a straight line; instead, they lie rather closely together on a curved one that nearly forms a closed circle…

I vote independent but if no independent exists then I vote for democrats....I'm a firm believer that the gov't has no business in what a woman does with her body and am appalled and the shenanigans the fanatical christians are imposing on women. The USA could become what Margaret Atwood wrote in The Handmaid's Tale if we are not diligent and protect women's rights.

Oh, Little Bro....I so wish you would write on here more often because I do so love reading every word you share. This one is so very wise and I would say I agree 100%. I have always registered Independent. For the last several years I have become so disgusted with what I see as the overkill of the heavy handed application of the liberal media/entertainment agenda effects on/in our society that I have tended to lean more to the right, but my natural tendency was always before pretty much straight down the middle and it totally depended on the issue. I, too, tend to vote more against than for.....sad.

great post ...i don't comment on your internal politics but since I also have always lived in so called democratic societies, I stand with you...just slightly to the right but still very likely to be hit by a passing bus.The aussie PM. is a nice bloke although he was photographed on the beach once wearing budgie smugglers and that is a picture difficult to get out of my mind....but worse is he has foot and mouth disease...and as soon as he gets one footsy out of his mouth the other one goes in.
