I don't really recall much being made of it growing up in Texas but when I moved to Kansas City it was a big deal....parade, big celebration at an old bar named Kelly's - I heard the crowds got so out of hand there they had to start closing for St. Pat's.  But back to your story....hysterical!  Tattoo on her thigh....poison ivy....OMG...I would not have been able to stop rolling on the floor in my stoner days!

Well, what stands out in my mind probably shouldn't. But while living in Jersey as a

young man a slew of us would pile into a car and head down to this hole in the wall

bar called O'Brian's and get tanked. With the excuse of: it's St. Patrick's Day! I don't

recall any of us being Irish. What a hell of a time though.

I too really couldn't give a hoot about St. Patrick's Day . . . and I'm actually part Irish on my mother's side!

No, my St. Patrick's Days have fortunately been on the dull end.
