I'm laughing as I write this. I know I took your subject a little off course, just had
to blow off some steam. Anyway, a well written post as usual.

I suppose different cultures had ideas bred into them from childhood, although this can change as we have seen here. Although I do not agree with some things Israel do. I do not know enough about the circumstances to try to analyze the motives.

I tend to agree with you on this Naut. I fear if Israel was not ever vigilant we could have bigger problems here. Israel is our first line of defense.

Good post. I don't think there's any question the Jews have been probably the most
discriminated against people in history. And as you said they are very resilient, and
they were, and are very threatening in many peoples eyes to this day. And among
many liberals now a days they are seen as the aggressor (how times have changed
in such a short period of time). I should know and this is what I see. One of my
grandfathers was a Jew. But...I still stand by my views of Muslims in particular, they
are not all bad. It's a small percentage.

So.....I'm trying to digest the thinking in the comments here and understand.... stay out of everything until money and blood on the line is needed; don't get involved just be available wherever and whenever clean-up is necessary, because that's how it always works, isn't it? I would love isolationism...... let everyone play in their own yards, clean up their own messes, keep our own dollars and fighters safe here at home...what a beautiful dream because we certainly have more than enough going on here....

I agree with everyone else's assessments, and I must admit, I am somewhat glad that Israel isn't a neighbor . . .

I actually don't feel that the internal Politics of Israel are any more of my business than what the internal Politics of the USA or the UK or New Zealand are. Just for examples.

A great explanation of why the Zionist Union is not picking on Israel.

Here's an idea. Why don't we (America, and its allies) just mind our
own business and keep our mouths shut when the neighbors next door are having one of their usual Saturday night free-for-alls. We know they're all going to kiss and make up the next morning, and then (if we've stuck our nose in) they'll both be mad at us.
