 That sounds simular to what a couple of my cousins had to go through at their

  high school. Although I think they were better behaved.

I can imagine a place like that had an extra layer of quietness to it so the slamming was even more jarring!  I have to say, as the principal's daughter and, therefore, innocent target of many a prank I wish they had been so innocent in our neck of the woods!

pranks....I remember when one of the 8th graders at my grade school decided to throw cherry bombs into the commodes!

Having been 'required' to go to such a place, I'm sure I and my classmates would have found something similar to do as well! And loudly too . . .

Kids will be kids and it is nice to think that everyone's sense of humor came first past the post.

I should not think the priests were very happy ,poor guys probably had to get up early to pray.
