I suspect quite a lot of tax money goes into the hands of those we wish would not receive it, but politics plays such a large part in the world today. At least The Irish managed to sort out a compromise, shaky though it may well be. I guess most  folk really want peace without compromise if possible.

Now I'm a bit further ahead at understanding the politics but at least I know Netenyahu is a Zionist too but he still could lose right?

Speaking of taxes and the Holy Land election, your post here got Son #1 thinking about Zacchaeus who climbed the sycamore tree in Jericho so he could see Jesus pass by.  On Holy Land Tours, they show a sycamore that they say is more than 2000 years old and believe it is the one the tax collector climbed.  Disappointed smile

I know our money and people were sent to hamper that election. I do hope it goes the way I want. Israel is a gage of life in the world. I love it that you keep us updated on Israel.

Yeah, I have a feeling that some of our tax dollars went to them.

My mom used to say that all through history any nation that picked

on Israel seemed to fail, sooner or later. (Possibly any nation is so doomed, but that's a whole 'nother question.) So I'm asking, in light of your explanation of the situation in a nutshell - what happens to them if Israel picks on Israel. As for your question, I don't know whether tax dollars migrate, but there are private dollars that do - and IMHO far too many dollars spent on war in general.
