Stand-up comedy is indeed tough! If you can't grab the audience within the first three jokes, you're in trouble! And I believe 'going commando' simply means going out sans undies! However, no matter what TP I'm using, that will never happen . . .

TAPS
I crack up at how they use an actress with an English accent so that it sounds less 'tacky', I suppose.....whatever, they are advertising everything and anything in the early hours so there is just no such thing as even pretending to use creativity to come up with ads that could appeal to a wide audience with differing tastes and sensibilities. Instead, they go for the cheap and lazy laughs....and get by with it as people buy the products regardless. Anyway...... Yes, do please share a tape because I'm sure your gr-neph will be a big success!

I just had to Google all about that commercial. Had no idea what it was about. EWWWW indeed, for me. I could pretend I wasn't wearing panties...but I always was.

I've been thinking those commando bits were really stupid, but
apparently they're getting people to watch the TP commercials. Also thought the lady who goesinto raptures about the ultra soft rolls the naughty boys had used to TP her trees is a bit much. I hope your nephew does great with the stand-up - I wonder if "Last Comic Standing" is still in production...

Forgot to add that I hope Miles has a good try-out, has success, and he and Ciel's Charlie could eventually work in a same show!

This from Wikipedia: "The phrase was in use in the UK, referring mainly to women, from the late 1960s. The connection to the UK and women has been suggested to link to World War II, a euphemism for prostitutes working in London's West End, who were termed "Piccadilly Commandos". Interesting, and I know people who do go commando. Unfortunately, I'm at that place where I look much better dressed than undressed, LOL!
