I don't use FB but I know people that do, and some are pretty daring with what they

 say on it.

Up hold the enemy. That is such a strange thing. However the country is not armed. Citizens cannot protect themselves from evil without the arms to do so.

Really? Anti-Islamic on FB gets their goat? I wonder how FB would react if such posts were launched in America? Like many, many posts....?

Too much for tired mind, but tried.  I am sure I agree.  I am on facebook but too afraid to post anything but bland stuff, nothing real or personal.  My kids found out on FB that their Poppy, my dad died on FB by blankied blank cousin.

So I use FB for what suits me...to keep in touch with a very few folks and to get updates on Grandchildren. I don't care what is out there, it is not welcome on my private line never will be. It is time to act like adults make decisions for ourselves. If Y' don't like it then don't buy into it.

Oh, you're killing me, Naut, you're killing me! Although it's nice to be well-informed, these 'tales' just piss me off on a daily basis! I no longer view it as simply catering to the lowest common denominator, but more like surrendering to the enemy! I was going to say, gee, let's see what's next, but I'm afraid to . . .

I did not know that Facebook did that. Thanks for bringing it to light, Naut.

Nautikos

And no boats to float away in if one judges by the tepid reactions one gets when trying to converse about the situations....clucks of "ain't it awful" are about the best I usually get.  You at least get the respect as a scholarly man when you speak - and of course you do sound like one, beause you are; whereas I sound like what I am, a wild and crazed woman sick and tired of the world going to hell in a handbasket .  As I've said many times, I don't care so much for myself as I'm quite happy to have lived my life during a good time....it's for my grandcandies that I mourn this insanity they inherit.
