Good question but my materialism days are over. I'm rather simple, I'd rather
spend that gold money on a nice trip or a nice old Landcruiser.

If times got tough, sure I would...haven't had to yet, but I would if necessary; I've never traded but I've purchased used jewelry many times. I have purchased some very old jewelry that I love imagining the history of the pieces, the lives of the women who wore them before....see "The Yellow Rolls Royce"

I have nver traded any gold in nor have I traded jewelry. I do not kow enough about it to do so, and I do not have any, anyway.

The only 'jewelry' I wear is my wedding band ( never to be traded for anything! ) But I have gotten rid of some old gold pieces for that extra cash . . .
