Re:

It's okay, C C T. Your secret is safe with me! Well, I suppose the best way to ascertain whether or not we're the 'sane' ones is to simply see which side of the story one is on. If your name does show up in one of these tales, you've gone off the rails! If you can sit back and read them 'from a distance,' you're sane! How's that assessment . . . ?

Re: jimmy

You're very welcome, jean. I love these too. And I'm not quite sure if it's fortunate or unfortunate that each week I have so many to choose from! Every time I think I've heard it all, up pops the next batch! To be continued, of course . . .

Re:

Thanks, chuck. And they do have a way of making one feel 'normal,' at least by comparison! Hope your weekend's wonderful too . . .

Re:

In what way, Vermont? Have you been surrounded by constant misspellings that simply drive you crazy? I'm fairly certain that the daily newspaper I read must have fired their one and only proof-reader a long time ago ( the typos are appalling sometimes )! But, it does make for a laugh or two sometimes . . .

Re:

I don't blame you, adnohr! Mr. Shakespeare did say that 'all the world's a stage!' He never mentioned where that stage actually was! That's why I'm thinking that 'fool's paradise' is an oxymoron ( emphasis on moron, of course ) . . .

Re:

Really, Inside? Perhaps those stoned bunnies are the 'satin' worshipers! Who knows anymore? And I'll bet those rabbits are smarter than those graffiti artists! What's next, I wonder . . . ?

Re:

Well, lustor, I don't think Californians have a monopoly on doing off-the-wall things to get attention! In fact, from what I've been seeing and reading, the concept is pretty universal! Me, I don't need the attention! I'd rather sit back and watch the other fools . . .

Re:

You could be right, Justi. That sure would explain a lot! I suppose the bright side is, no matter what smells they may have to endure, at least they won't have to worry about a power outage . . .

Re:

And sometimes, Kabu, that's all we can do! For certain incidences, it's better to be in the audience than on the stage. And these people are center stage with these particular antics. Just sit back, slowly shake your head, have a chuckle or two, and wait for the next 'show' . . .

Re:

Well, then, TAPS, you're in for a real treat! Because, believe it or not, they do get better ( or worse, depending on your point of view ) . . .

Re: JimmyA

Unfortunately, Sir Wiley, they're all weird, for one reason or another! And you never know. Perhaps those kids really do worship satin! I suppose it's better than polyester . . .

Re:

Me neither, FSI, for any reason, for any compensation! I would have thought that they would have wanted a 'single' person without a family! It did say "one way," didn't it? I hope it will all be worth it . . .

Re: Jimmy

I understand completely, Naut! It's relatively the same feeling when we read your political posts concerning Islam. We keep shaking our heads and shaking our heads, and nothing seems to improve! And society continues to spiral down that drain . . .

Re:

The shame of it, Bill, is that no one should have to. Their parents did a wonderful job teaching them respect I see . . .

Goodness where do you find them Jimmy. I can't think straight after reading all this. I suppose there are a few sane folk still around. Unless they a queuing up to visit that small settlement for a day. Best blog I have read for a long time. Don't tell anyone.
