You're keeping busy, I see. Here's it's finally getting warmer, and I'm looking forward to taking Bennie into the woods again - onece the snow is gone, of course! There's still so much left, I'd need a bulldozer to get in...

FSI is right - you've ended this post with a very important observation. It's wonderful to have such a neat neighbor! Just that alone can high-five one's morale!

I could do with your neighbour here Jean. He sounds like a frisky old guy. I think you have come to terms with your new life now, I don't think the old one was very happy.

it may have been OK., once but things change it is like coming off of a treadmill and finding you feel dizzy because the wheel has stopped.

Re: v1

we will see, he said it may not be worth the trouble when he came to look at it today. so tomorrow i have to call and see how much they pay per pound.  he is a good neighbor and his son lives next door to him and he is also a good neighbor

Re: krisles

he is amazing, he was outside on his tractor getting his garden ground plowed up. kept telling me "your young enough you can take care of yourself for a lot of years" and that was uplifting to me.  we have to keep busy to stay strong.

Wow! That was a full day!  I can't imagine having the energy your 91 yo neighbor has at my age now ......must be wonderful to have genes that good.  Sounds like you've got lots of plans to keep you busy this Spring.  I'll look forward to reading about them.
