A little sad but I thought it was very creative.

I am torn between admiration for your art and horror at the poor man's suffering, LOL...:) (My phone won't let me send you a flower)

Taps you have used your awesome Talent to describe so many people's feelings towards the very old, the very wrinkled and pain filled faces. I found as I expect you did to when nursing that everyone kisses and cuddles the young but hardly anyone wants to get too close to ugly old.

Not only the words, but the arrangement of your indentations
adds so much to the images. Wow!

A very vivid picture of the harsh masters our bodies can become, ruling everything in our existence with relentless pain.

This reminds of of my poor old Dad. When he had a bout of lumbago, he would sit or rest against the table and keep giving little shouts of pain. We kids used to say 'don't keep doing that Dad, it makes us jump. He always wore a thick piece of flannel round his back winter and summer, but I don't know what caused it.
