Superstitions are very interesting. Athletes may very well be the most superstitious of all.

Oh, Little Bro...
Your poor little piggies....did your Beloved kiss them? Or did she smack you on the bottom with that magazine and tell you to turn on the dang light next time! You probably startled her out of a couple of years. OK, now I'll (((HUG))))). I'm not really superstitious but I do have a touch of OCD......I can remember counting the acoustic tiles in the ceiling at church, and not stepping on cracks....but it was a brief study of numerology that I'm thinking of. I can't even remember what the meanings are but I obsessively determine the number of the day on any day that is remotely significant; it is sooooo stupid, especially since I only pay any note to 1 or 9.....stupid!!!!!! Crazy, even! Now, something in me loves the idea is karma....I hope it's in play....don't know, but sure like that ultimate checks and balance system.

ROFLOL Our Strat. you are surely in a bad way...and I just adore your beloved's way of preparing for the worst. Her magazine would surely frighten off any demons from the other world from harming her. You light up my day.
