This, I think is just a larger scale of what is going on in this world.  There are many micro-ecosystems right here in the US, in our community and in our homes.  Yes, we should stand up and speak about the wrongs.  I feel that it would be easier to solve them in our back yards than in this political ridden world.  It is not religion but politics.  Politicians of all races are puppets for the unseen men and woman behind the curtain.

i might live to see the day when people will have to take a stand, on one side or the other worldwide. if the muslims are so willing to die, then i say lets send them to hell.

I was just doing some light reading - our Constitution and Declaration of Independence - I hadn't read them in awhile and thought I would refresh my memory on a few things.  Thomas Jefferson certainly had a way with words when he wrote the Declaration and it still can bring tears to my eyes, especially when I think back on the times during which it was written and imagine those people.

 It was something about this post that sent me to Google to read these documents and I think I can best voice my weird thoughts if I ask you to substitute the word/idea "religious" for "political" when you read the opening paragraph I'll paste below because I think that states quite eloquently what I believe it's time for Muslims who want to be counted as one of us to do - it is clearly a time of them or us in this world.  We are reaching a critical mass time very soon in our history....not today, not next week, but Obama doesn't have that much longer in office and I do not think the people in this country have changed our character to the point that we will continue to stand by and let it be them.

When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

Agh-h-h-h!   It is like torture to me to read this post....but, nothing compared to the torture of the people mentioned in this post.
