Yum! Wasabi!! I just came back from spending a week with my son, his Japanese wife and their beautiful, gorgeous, cuddly baby Miko...all this to say that I had lots of fish and Wasabi.

How lovely ...Yum. I haven't had any goos smoked salmon for too long.. If you ever see it anywhere, Tasmanian smoked salmon is good. Wild, the Southern Ocean is mighty Pristine...like the Oysters and LObsters...superb eating ...but you possibly could see some Tasmanian Salmon somewhere down your way.

Nautikos

This sounds scrumpDILLYicious!!!  I will definitely give it a try, although I am not a salmon connoisseur and shall just have to try it with whatever I can find - I know, hush my mouth!

It won't be long now before the herb garden of Son #3 will be growing all kinds of wonderful green stuff, parsley, chives, mint, basil, dill weed....  I'm stashing this quickie lunch idea in a safe place to use with his first dill weed.

I must admit, I'm just not a seafood eater at all. But if I were, I'll bet this is delicious . . .

Naut Arthur used to bring trout home from fly fishing he ties his own. The last four I buried by a rose tree, He does not bring them back now and fishes with a barb-less hook.

During the war folk would froth at the mouth at the thought of a tin of red salmon.

I liked crab but I do not fancy it now somehow and I always buy caught red salmon from the Atlantic, if they truly are. Of course it is tinned, so , well I like pepper and vinegar. I like reading about your recipes though, as Archie's wife is always interested in new cooking techniques.
