That "filling in the vacuum" statement is pretty telling and more than a bit frightening.

I know it is insane....really, it is and I haven't had a thing to drink....just Mucinex and cough meds.....but I swear that after reading this post and then these comments, I flashed on this scene from Guns Along the Mohawk...or maybe it was Last of the Mohican's....either one, it's ridiculous...but it's a quiet night, a canoe gliding quietly across a lake reflecting a bright full moon above...a sense of disaster lurking in the woods all around.....and drums start sounding, throbbing in the forest deep....growing louder and louder.... like I said....insane...

I'm just stopping in. I don't believe things will change anytime soon.

I rarely get into Politics, but I did watch the speech and was impressed, as I do have opinions on human rights. This is a humanitarian issue.
It has caused tons of tension in my household to not take sides, red or blue. My husband is sleeping with Obama. No, he really is. I have many views on both sides. I am not a pro with economics so I probably could be fooled by any good debater. I do know when people are being treated with undue plights and when people are being given incentive to decrease their potential. Either of those are in humane and so is buying nuclear arms to kill my neighbors as well as myself.
Thinking of that, I just recently found out that my dog Rhiley is a Gay Republican. How you might ask or not care. He was caught humping a Bush.

It is a shame how oblivious people are to these "negotiations." As a Marylander, very little is being said about negotiations with Iran and Netanyahu's speech...I wonder if people will listen to "the other side."
