Re:

Good for you, Justi. Just remember: if you can't eat it, don't assume it can't be used for something else . . .

Re: Re: Re:

It is indeed, Kabu. And now those same girls are wondering why those boys don't pay much attention to them anymore. With age comes wisdom, I suppose . . .

Re: jimmy

I think everybody does, jean. I do my best. Glad you're smilin' and laughin' . . .

This one was a scream. I will always remember it when it comes to 'pot luck'.

Re: Re:

No; more like grubs and toads and snot from your nose...sorry it's what we used to say to the boys at primary school. Little girls tend not to like little boys. Funny about life ain't it.

Re: JimmyA

Believe it or not, Sir Wiley, that was more of a statement than a pun. I merely misspelled 'worst.' Glad it got a chuckle out of you though . . .

Re:

I think we all do, FSI. There may be a lot of 'bull' floating around, but there's no reason we need to see its genitals flapping in the wind . . .

Re:

Very brave, indeed, lustor. The end result may not have tasted very well, but the concoction of smells was outstanding! And once it hardened in the street, no one paid any attention to the bits and chunks frozen in place . . .

Re:

I could have, C C T, killed two birds with one stone, so to speak. We either made pothole filler that could be substituted for food, or food that could be substituted for pothole filler. It's anyone's guess. And the well may not be dry ( yet ) but I must admit, its level is way, way down . . .

Re: Jimmy

Oh, no, Naut! Beginning with a blender would have been cheating . . . wouldn't it? Better to attempt to stir everything in that pot altogether! And Worcestershire sauce? Are you crazy? We were trying to make something edible, not something explosive!

Re:

I certainly hope so, Kabu! Especially after reading such silliness. And somehow, I get the feeling that an actual wizard's brew probably wouldn't contain Twinkies or Snickers bars . . .

And the winner is: "

  • I went into a German-run delicatessen the other day, and they were giving away free samples of these cold slices of some odd kind of sausage. It was the wurst thing I’ve ever eaten!"

I wish that the truth would wear clothes as well.

Been waiting all day for you to print Jimmy, I don't feel it is Monday until you do. Although I wondered if the well had run dry. I like the idea of the flashers, one would not want to pick up frozen oddments. I don't think you would make top chef, but maybe an adviser to the council, we need one here  to find a quick solutions to the dreaded potholes.

That's a delicious recipe, and you guys wasted some good food! When you do it again, you simply put everything into the blender before you cook it over medium heat! And at the end don't forget to add a little Worcestershire sauce...
