Go to Life in the fast lane--where's the on ramp?Add a commentGo to Cleaned out a drawer

I know I have so many clothes Pat but I don't like to part with any unless they rip or get stained. I console myself by looking at the payment made to charities by the collectors £100 per ton.

I am by no means a hoarder, in fact I have had to move several times in my life and scale down drastically.  I have missed only a few things that had sentimental value.  But my husband considers my plants and few knick knacs as hoarding.  Guess he's either a minimalist or a control freak.

we had such a throw out and rearrangement last year, I do believe there shouldn't be so much to chuck this Spring. Good for you for starting.

Pat

Oh boy! It's like you were getting into my drawers - what did I just write there??? LOL! Anyway, it all sounds awfully familiar...The problem is I can always find something better to do than go through that stuff...But some day...

I think many of us would be able to write a fairly extensive blog about some of the things cluttering up our drawers. Like you said, you never know when one of these obscure items will come in handy! How about making a mobile out of some of them . . . ?

It looks like an onerous job before you start,

but there are great things in those closets and drawers and attics and basements... I tend to postpone deciding to toss some things away, but it's finally time in the Great Cleaning, and more goes away than stays.

Funny, just last evening I was thinking about drawers in three different rooms that I was thinking about just turning upside down into the trash without even looking to see what was in them.  I know I won't do that though as there is always a chance that one might contain a treasure.  But, i surely am tempted.
