I must say my preference is for white appliances. perhaps it is an age thing and I dress in a lot of black but use scarves and color somewhere to brighten me old self up a bit.

i used to buy all my clothes in black because i heard you look slimer in black, lol, now i buy anything but black even though i have not lost the weight. guess i just got tired of black. and i also agree with white appliances. i always had white and just before my husband left he talked me into stainless, never liked it because everything shows up on them. so now half of my kitchen is white, with a black microwave, borrowed, and a stainless frig and stove, lol. nothing matches but i am now use to it. all i care about is that it works.

I guess I like some things to be black, but a little color is nice too. As far as microwaves are concerned, it's nice when it does fit in to the decor of the rest of your kitchen. But these days, I'd be more worried that the damned thing worked properly, and lasted for more than a couple of months . . .

I'll make a confession to you (and, I guess, to all your readers) - I have worn black knickers forever! They're the kind that can (and have!) on occasion served as swimming trunks at the beach when I forgot my regular trunks...So according to that color psychology thing, I guess I'm a dictator in hiding, waiting for the right moment in history to pounce on an unsuspecting world...

I'v heard, by unreliable source that white is coming back in. What does off white mean? Does it mean I want to disappear into my environment? Better wait till I am my old self to choose appliances.

I don't think I knew they come in white. All the best ones are black...
JK... I always read those "what your (fill in the blank) means about you," and I get a real kick out of them. Sometimes they seem to fit, like those horoscope things that tell your character and personality according to your birth sign. But they're usually so diplomatic they make human flaws seem like attributes.

What about if your favourite colour is white Taps. Did you look that up?
It is sometimes difficult to get rid of old appliances, well one can at a price, nice to have
the old one taken care of.
