I remember doing this so many times. Sometimes the forts we made out of tents were really long ha. THen I did the same thing with my children when they were smaller.

My sisters and I did the same things, making tents with sheets, furniture....

Very cute! And I think there may be something phylogenetic about it, deeply imbedded in our ancient genetic memory, harking back to a time millions of years ago when we had to! I think all children love building little nests for themselves! I know I did...

Oh that is just wonderful. I remember my three doing this together. I love this post of course, it has that lovely little great gran in it. She is so beautiful and precious.

everytime I went to wagga the grandson made my bed linen into a forte each morning. Can't believe hs started University. LOL Baisy is just as beautiful as a little girlie can get and good for her, making her own cover instead of something terribly expensive from ToysRUs

Must run in the family Taps. I cannot ever remember doing that but it was always so cold we had to crouch over the fire. If one of us bagged the best chair we would walk around with it so no one else could have it.
