Re: Re: kabu

that is good news. I guess you are realizing that it all burned out long ago but it still hurts. and adjustments take time.

A hypnotist at a seminar I attended once gave one of the best tips I've ever heard for dealing with those old baggage memories that slip in occasionally - he said to freeze it like a photo in your mind and then see yourself crumple it up like a wad of trash in your hand and throw it away.  Every time it pops back in, focus that photo in clearer and clearer, b/w or color, whichever makes the image clear....wad it up tighter and tighter and toss it.  As for been there, done that....remember you've probably also got the t-shirt, it's got holes in it, you've used it for a dust rag and tossed it in a bin in the basement!

That makes a lot of sense. Bullies are indeed weak, stemming from their insecurities.

Yes I keep thinking of things that I should have done or did. Pity I don't leave next door I always wanted to pinch a pie off of a window sill.It is call in the mind Jean, time heals all.

Sometime "Sis" does know best, and sometimes I know best for her.  It is great that we can help each other out when needed.

We just don't realize how abused we have been,,,I don't think always that the abuser either know s what they are doing....well with some attitudes anyway. Busy is really good but one has to sit and come to terms with what was and what is...and no matter what there is grief. You are doing real well and I do long for pictures.

Believe me, I do understand how your mind is working. Every once in a while, some left-field thought from years ago would suddenly pop into my brain, something I wish I had done differently, and I end up beating myself up over it all over again. It's a vicious cycle, one that's difficult at times to get away from. And I'll bet your house smelled wonderful after baking that bread . . .
