I gave them to Archie's wife Bro. A minute in the mouth a lifetime on the behind. Yes a poor job for a man 20 years younger than we uns.

We all have our little methods Jimmy mainly to get the needle in first time. Yes I wish more would take over telling them to comment or fade away. I get some bad vibes from doing just that, I don't wish them to comment on my page, but for their own good.
I remember one blogger putting twenty or so poems on minute after minute, but did not last a couple of weeks. In future I will remain stum, no don't look it up it is a colloquialism.

Yes Pat but the old latrine bucket used to produce good crops and what was better than the urine from the pig hole, I have a little tale about that. I know Pat I don't know why I was so intrigued by faces. Better than bottoms I suppose.

Re:
Don't make me tremble Nurse. I think you may approach my arm in a far too frivolous mood. I suppose I could go into a trance if all else failed. I also squeal if it hurts. No I expect you were OK. I'll go back in time and see how you performed. Yes sometimes it is a bit difficult a man called today with some large pallets for Archie to chop up for kindling wood. He said he could not raise Archie on the phone to come and give him a hand to unload as they were extremely heavy. So guess who had to help , poor chap was nearly knackered, well at 64 he should not be lifting things like that, no leave it to the older guys who wear a weightlifting belt to look slim and able.

Re: Taps
There you go Taps an idea is born. I hope it has not perished, I always regret given some old ceramic ones away only one had to wrap them in a blanket.

Yes Vermount he was a bit cheeky for his time. Mine was Hancock . Hankcock's half hour. If you ever see a repeat it would be worth watching. A lot of the stuff today is not appealing I feel

Re:
Well P.P try and save all the green material and household bits and pieces that will decompose easily put it in a bin if you can. Don't use any food waste as rats can sniff that out. Garden shops are full of tricks trying to sell expensive containers If it was not a large area I would use ordinary bricks or boards to raise the soil and mix in plenty of peat compost if you can get it at a reasonable price. If it is for flowers it does not need to be too rich , Usually really old gardens are quite fertile and can be just dug over as the contents of the latrine bucket has been buried to good effect.

Re: cct
You are the adventurous one Jean . You won't get much sympathy from a doctor if you just have the screws. Do go though if you feel you are worse than you should be. Yes I suppose she seems a bit stiff, but better to find out before than afterwards.

i always figured that the aches and pains were just due to my age so it would sound silly to complain. i do not take any pills and it is a pity that it does not mean i will last longer than anyone else at this point.....actually i have always wanted to go on to the next great adventure suddenly and without warning. that lady at the super market sounds kinda snobby to me.

Gee, I would have thought that having the blood pressure of a 21-year-old would have been a good thing! And drinking four cups of coffee before a doctor's visit? Probably not a decent idea! As for the sudden influx of new members, I would hope that was a good thing. Spread the comments around a little . . .

I have noticed a lot of new subscribers as well. My hits are up, too. Things are humming along nicely compared to where they were just two months ago. Something clicked with the New Year.
Your poem put a big smile on my face.

Now there you go. With my microwave down I was trying to figure out how to get my cornbags hot. What I need to do is search around and figure out what I did with my old hot water bottle that I haven't used since I received my first cornbag.

I used to take blood when I was an RN. I am pretty good at it!!. What? Well, if I don't praise myself up who else is going to??
Take care of you and let Archie do the work. He may not be as good as you but he saves your having to work so hard.

Ah, still sweet-talking the lady, maneuvering for the sweet spot in the
check-out line! Foxy dude, aren't you? Love the recycling stories you spin, how things are mulched and the growing is such a "green" operation. Seems to me that was the only possible way to do it some 50-60 years ago - before the advent of plastic.

I haven't seen any influx of new ideas - maybe I haven't looked hard enough! But I had to look up that hiatus hernia business - never heard of it! And I'm sure I haven't got one, LOL...And the next time you approach Ms Amanda Grey, make sure you hide your 'sell by' date - she might have forgotten...
