I suppose we must not make idols of man. We all have weaknesses as well as strength.

I am sure your views at that meeting would have been more balanced than the gentleman who was promoted.

Most interesting post. I believe that Ostrich's (people with their head in the sand) and fanatics about climate and the environment both do about as much harm as the other and just confuse folks like me.

Besides I agree with you, encouraging impressionable young people to get themselves arrested several times can prevent them from being able to complete their studies and or find employment one day. I call that irresponsible. I hope he goes back to writing which he would appear to be much better at than speaking.

I have found that as i get older I am more interested in the environment and my garden grows flowers that attract the butterflies, the bees, the birds especially the humming birds.

Bee keeping, in Manhattan there'a an organic farming school, and I took the major ecology as an elective in college when I was young. In the last decade I took the major horticulture for a math/science rerquirement as an adult student.
