I agree. There is only one reality show I will watch...my one downfall...shahs of sunset. Don't know why I do but I watch it.
I hate sports and the plethora of sports channels on cable. I used to watch the Olympics but they have made it into anything but the Olympics. They cut so much of the prelims out so that all these sports caster get their face time.

While I like some reality shows, I do feel that it is too widespread, coming at the expense of sitcoms and dramas.

The occasional regret for a show I would like to watch
when it's broadcast, is far out-weighed by the bliss of seeing no commercials during the election and holiday and special occasion seasons. Add to that the lack of paying for said commercials, I am glad to have no television at all!

I think you just might be part unicorn😜....and I so agree with you. Face it, everything always gets overdone....and in today's world, it's at warp speed and caught on cell camera selfies.

All of which,... except the last part of your great post because we read everyday... is why we now have Netflix!! seriously. We hardly ever watch TV anymore cept to Know what is happening news wise daily and the weather....Even the weather if you stick your head out of the window you'll get a more accurate update
