Its that they are really not helping many people. In opposition to someone like Habitat For Humanity where 90% goes to people that need a hand up. These situations get complecated because there really is some risk involved with the abuser.

I used to raise money for charities through big companies. I could still do that, I know when they need the deductions. But I would probably have to do it on a smaller scale.

When you are through this and himself is just a bad dream a nightmare that gets triggered off by something once in a while, when that happens perhaps you can write a book that helps other women facing the same situation....Or like me, Just try to write with and send hugs to help someone along.

To get a cause working it has to stimulate the emotions of folk. A little man was knocked down and robbed he was a poor little chap. A woman opened a fund, so he could move to a place he felt safer in. About a week later she had to stop the donations as he had enough to buy a small home. Charity letters come through the letter box each day and most end up in the bin. Plan carefully.
