She (Kabu) talked me out into this arctic cold, I picked up our now empty recycle boxes, brought them beck to the house. Then it was a drive down the highway to come around and wind up downtown at the post office. Uh oh, Immigration papers for Kabu that were all bad news, Papers filed for her permanent resident card were unacceptable to some immigration nerd in Nova Scotia.
Angry we took off to the grocery store as food was getting low, and we had heavy hearts over the paperwork, got done shopping and rushed home to get working on that paperwork together. Now we have things all ready to ship back to immigration on Monday.

You can gripe all you'd like. However, that 'belly-rubbing' music might actually work against you! And I've stopped watching commercials altogether a long time ago! Why put yourself through the aggravation? And watching "The View?" I'd rather watch two squirrels fighting over an acorn . . .

we got Netflix recently...well No Wiley got it and is learning very nicely how to use it. $8.00 a month and we watch a couple of movies a day. Doesn't matter if we have seen it, we forget most of it anyway. LOL. We loathe the adds and awful programmes on telly these days and I hate the news channels. I am sure you will be getting out soon. We are running low on supplies and are trying to get courage up to go out in the terrible arctic cold...

Yes well I am sure you will buck up when the the season changes. I am sure I would go bonkers if I did not have greenhouses with new plants growing. Of course you should thank your neighbor, or give him a pie if you do not want to feel an obligation..

TV is just a wasteland with a few oases, like Mythbusters, for example, LOL...And do I sense a romance budding with your cutie pie neighbour?

I get my tv screened through Netflix which has no commercials
and is more or less, mostly less current. I can go straight to the Masterpiece Theater site for full length episodes of their recent releases, with one or two tasteful commercials just at the beginning. Could go to other specific sites like that.
It is pure joy to miss out on the seasonal barrage of commercials, most especially, the election season!

to my surprise i can still remember slow dancing and belly rubbing, lol. but i agree with you on the tv programs, i only have an antenna now to get tv, but there are a couple of channels that show old, black and white, tv programs and movies and i have started watching them.....at first i laughed a lot at the dialog and simple stories now i watch, i think, because i miss the simpler times. everything is mean drama today, killing or making someone look stupid.
