It is a very paternalistic government that lays down the law, and punishes even small crimes like dropping gum on the sidewalk with caning or immense fines. They aren't messing around with... well, messing around.

I'll bet they have never seen snow at all in Singapore, that is located 3degrees north of the equator. It is ideal if you love heat and humidity!

So clean...and the washing hanging out the window...my friends made me try to do that, I was scared everything would end up on the pavement. LOL...harder to do than one would thinnk.
