Re: Re: Re: kabu,

my husband use to accuse me of giving everything away, even if i charged for it.  i was never a salesman.  it just seems to me it is the thing to do and it makes me feel good to do for others.  and feeling for others and for all living things can be a curse at times.

Re: Re: kabu,

that is what we did last Summer with lots of our overcrowded cupboards. Gave things to a Bible Mission shop that sells the items to poor people and the money goes to printing Bibles for people Missions. You are a lovely person, always thinking of those worse off than yourself.

Re: cct

we do not have grass where i live just weeds that you mow and it looks green like grass.  i have thistles and nettles, ouch.  and what we call sticky bush, or wild berries.  i guess they come from the birds eating the berries then we get more sticky bush.

Re: kabu,

i have done that too,lol going to bank on a holiday.  i live in a very economically depressed area of the united states and the worst in florida.  there are no jobs here, so people cannot buy everything they would like.  so that is why a lot of this stuff i am sending to a outreach store where people can buy it at a very low cost and that money goes to christain charity.

Well good for you Jean, you seem to be making a recovery. I am sure writing helps.

Perhaps the birds are wary of the cats. I have one goldfinch visit I hope it does not mean I shall have thousands of niger plants sprout up I have never used Niger seed before and a lady said it comes from thistles. Robins do love worms as Naut said but I do feed a couple on hulled sunflower seed if worms are not available.

You have a lot of birds there. In this cold here -20c we have little chickadees and of course Blue Jays that survive the cold, We feed 'em all too. Good your getting stuff sold. Keep well

You stay warm and safe to dear friend ...sending you hugs and well done to sell some things. She may come back sometimes we think about other goodies we should have bought and come back. Pity my Sister can't go there. She buys so much stuff.

we had a holiday up here too but Wsiley and I didn't know and tried to go to the bank. Sigh.

Jean

How do you manage to have all that nice, warm weather, when when we here are freezing our butts off? Do you live in southern Arizona? Oh, and robins don't eat birdseed, they only eat what you and I wouldn't usually touch - worms...
