Of course I agree with FSI, and as a huge Rangers fan, I know they may go through a bit of a rough patch without Lundqvist, but it's not as though his injury put him out for the season! If they can stay at least above .500 during the games while he is out, they'll be fine come playoff time . . .

I just saw that I was incorrect. It is not the top four, but the top three, with the seventh and eighth being wild cards. That said, I still feel the gap is wide enough between the Rangers and Florida for the Rangers to still be safe.

No, I do not because the top four teams in the Metro are way ahead of the bottom four. For a time, the standings were continually changing. Now they have more or less settled. It is a matter of where the top four end up and where the bottom four end up. The Rangers should be fine.
