Dang! Sorry about the minipost rant.....got away from me! I just read all that great stuff and got to the end and was just blown away because I couldn't absorb it all and thought about how you do absorb it all....and how that's the problem, Naut....so many of us don't...you see, it's just too much, too complicated with bullshit!

Probably the main reason people have gotten more and more disengaged from the political system and JQPublic is so "stupid" if you will as to who's on first is very simply this, it has gotten so hard to stay up with the players in the world.....and the games..... and the strategies.....and the rules/consequences/countermeasures/partnerships involved....that unless you happen to be one of those people with an inborn curiosity about all things martial/political/strategic/historic/etc....and can almost make a hobby out of keeping up with all the different people.
I mean, I know I am being ridiculous to make the point but that's what I'm trying to do.....make the point.....in the old days it was so easy to know who the bad guy was...and people could come down on one side or the other, rally behind their guy and get on with the business of feeling strongly, getting steam behind their side. They could read something and identify the bad guy easily, by name....it was clear. Now, it's all a bunch of gobbledygook (sp?) and confusing and so people like me just go with their gut and grab on to the coattails of a few people they trust for information....in otherwords...it just ain't pretty out there for the unwashed minions mate.....
