I am a big fan of college football but pro players make so much money and so man do such atrocious things I just don't want to bother with them.

I've been hearing that it was the worst coaching ever in the history of football...but glad a team of yours FINALLY won...

Nautikos

Hey I was for the Patriots too and watched the game even though my football knowledge is minimal. I just voted for the easterners.

Well I cannot comment Naut, but I know those gals get excited when their team wins, so I support everyones choice to be on the safe side.

I don't see the fascination but then again there are things I enjoy others don't get...

That was a very good game, with a very unusual ending! A fantastic catch, followed by a terrible call to throw the ball into the coverage in the end zone! Seattle had their chance, and they literally blew it! Yes, New England did win, but Seattle really handed it to them. And there was a half-time show? Hmmm . . . I must have missed that ( accidentally on purpose ) . . .

That was a good game there, a lot better than last year's Super Bowl.

Well, like I think I said, I didn't really care.....and it was a good game.....but I think the Seahawks lost the game as much as the Pats won.  I mean, that has to have been about the stupidest call there at the end that I have seen, and I only half-way understand the game.  But glad you enjoyed it....and you Bud!  I was thinking about Pat's comment about enjoying it as much in her recliner....and I'm having a tough time figuring out my own feeling.  A few years ago, since it was in Arizona and not cold and yukky, there's no way I would have agreed....there's nothing like being at a live event like that - the energy in the air from the crowd is just indescribable, magic!  But I've gotten to be more and more of a hermit when it comes to dealing with crowds, parking...all that stuff....more and more of a been there, done that attitude.  At first, I bemoaned the fact, "old age"....but now I realize, "No, I've been there, done that!"

Wiley was watching it, I was catching up on writing email but we were cheering for the Patriots too cos they are on the east side as Wiley explained to me. The Half time show was really amazing...and all those costume changes impressed me the most.

I hope you won a bet with the Pat's win.

I'm not a superbowl fan, but I saw the last few minutes. This was the very essence of sports joy - a classic close game, promise of a come-from-behind victory, and a rookie who comes out of nowhere to save the day! Just as enjoyable from my la-z-boy - or moreso - than from one of those $4,000 seats in the stadium...
