Re: Re: Glad to hear your cable is repaired!

In moderate amounts, I hear cyanide is good for the skin.  Or is that arsenic...?

funny post, notice i am smiling again,

around here they go to the waste plant and sell what they call sludge as compost, ewww, but they say it is clean when you get it, they bake or cook at high temperature and that is supposed to make it ok, lol.  only green goes into my compost pile.   my neighbor has chickens and feeds them everything, even chicken, i could not bring myself to do that.

but then in the movie solent green, guess what the people were eating, yeah, people.

there is a big debate going on here, a fisherman was out fishing in the gulf and a hugh fish rammed his boat and he took pictures before he left the area, he said it was a great white shark.....well i guess i have swam in the gulf for the last time.  but some are saying it was a mako, the experts are divided as to what it was. they said if he could have gotten a side shot they would know for sure, like he was going in the water to take a picture.....but he said he looked it in the eye and mouth before he left, he was in a 22 foot boat , 8 1/2 miles out.  he did the right thing.

selling a double yolk as two eggs, still laughing.

but sorry to hear that his greed done him in, he had to get the last apple. what did he think the birds were going to eat.

really liked the poem.  spring is around the corner.

I think I'll wait for potted plants, it's been mild lately and organic

seed packets are out at the Lowe's store where I get my bird seed for the feeder. But
there could be a sub-freezing cold snap or two before they'd be safe sprouting outdoors.
Love the apple poem.

Yes one likes to show a little kindness Ciel and the pips do contain cyanide.

Re: Jimmy

Yes I suppose one might have to use the fleece if it became too cold Jimmy ,but we old gardeners get a feel for things. I don't think the pudding took on, too much broken cutlery and glass involved . I'll have to ask Archie about Tottenham he is the chief sports

commentater round these parts

Re: Kabu

One has to be a leap ahead of the rest. It is at times like this that one can creep under the polythene tunnel and keep working as though it is spring time. Sweat peas are  fairly hardy, not in your backyard though.

Tottenham pudding? Is that what they feed the hotspurs? And what's wrong with a little mattress with your sweet peas?  Isn't that fiber?
