It sounds like its going to be a very interesting story-telling panel.  You should make a video of one of the meetings and put it on YouTube.  It just might go viral.

Ah love i admire you so. I am no good at groups at all...isn't it odd how the color of one's skin can make such a difference in so many ways. yet there is so much to learn about each others differnt up bringings. Look at blogit. i don't think any of us care about social standing or clothes or where each other live. We really are community and I have leanred so much from being here.

PatB

Too much diversity and unwillingness to 'join in' properly would make me consider my age and lack of ability to cope lovin' Sis.

To be perfectly honest, although I understand the group's mission to diversify, I never really understood its actual importance. I've always felt that, the coming together of various groups, whether their differences be racial, cultural, sexual or what have you, should happen naturally on its own. I think, as far as writing is concerned, anyone's perspective and/or input would be greatly appreciated by everyone else. And I guess I'm the opposite of Steve in that I tend to be more of a "writer" than "a story teller" . . .

True 'diversity' remains an elusive goal...

Yes it is a shame Pat perhaps recent events have hurt deeper than folk realize as a boy in the war I remember the antagonism between black and white soldier American lads. The English girls did not have that problem.

There will be the ups and the downs...

You've got a 'down' out of the way.
