Re:
Hi Krisles, thankyou for the visit. Great questions. Illegal Immagrant status in Vt. is
hard to detect. But according to VPR there are approximately 1000 that may be. The
Vt. pop. is 626,000. And yes Vt. does take in Refugees (from other countries). Since
the program started over 6300 people, most which reside in the Burlington area. The
majority come from Bosnia, Bhutan, and African Countries.

I took a roadtrip once with my mom, with no particular itinery other than to try to see as much beautiful fall foliage as possible....we drove through Vermont, took some side roads and thoroughly enjoyed what was too short a taste....so I, too, will enjoy your posts for a more thorough "visit". Does Vermont have to deal with the illegal immigration issues to the extent other states do, or take in refugees from hurricanes from neighboring states suddenly....those kinds of issues do help keep resources more available to both state and citizens for environmental concerns. I'm not saying we give up, just that it is reality to be dealt with that is oft suddenly in our laps and treasure. I was raised in the piney woods of East Texas and need green to feed my soul so I do pray you save all you can of your area as this drought is drying my beautiful state to sticks.

Hi... You asked me for a critique...
I don't know exactly what you meant by that, but let me say this. If you keep setting up a new category for each post, there's no way to add your blog to a favorites list so folks can easily check your updates on a regular basis. Simply add a new post under that one "ecstasy in vermont" heading.

I'm so glad that you came to visit my blog post because, to be honest I had forgotten to come back to your place after my first read. This was a great post. I have never been to Vermont, often thought about going there but always used my trip time to visit my children and grandchildren in places like Florida and Oregon instead. Now I don't travel anymore so I am glad to read you instead.
