absolutely amazing...we have family members worthy of being a book. This is certainly one of those relatives. what a terrible war he suffered, and what a big big heart he had. I really enjoyed reading this...and of course it ties into your last post, brings Gregory more alive.

Very interesting post. I love family stories with lots of history worked in. That was a bad time he went through--strong and brave man.
