Well, well, well! I have to check our that 1814 stuff. I wonder if maybe Clinton was an off-spring somewhere in the chain of Mr. Simpson? Hummm.

Interesting. However, over the years, I've learned that sometimes, just sometimes, there are certain things you may not want to know! And we all know how certain things can be exaggerated over time too! Seventy kids? Hmmm . . .

I think he should have used a pig skin condom, makes one wonder why so many girls said yes. One good thing he must have spread some good strong genes. In time all is forgiven, he would have a good many law suits to answer for today. The company would not survive that long.

Wow - I love stories like this. And TAPS, your story is interesting in itself, but wouldn't it be something if you were part of this one too?

He well may have been one of my ancestors. John Simpson, my Great-grandfather on my Dad's side was a "half-breed" Menominee Indian from around the Canadian-Wisconsin border. His mother was the daughter of the Indian Chief and his father was a Canadian. He was raised by his Indian mother, then had some schooling, and ended up moving southward. He ended up in the Ozarks of Missouri and married Mary Etter, daughter of the "richest" family in Etterville, MO. My grandmother and two of her sisters must have carried the Menominee genes because they sure looked like native Americans.
