Re: Re: Kabu,
give Charlie a hug from me and tell him he has me in his corner sending all my positive energy his way. My son made it ....so will yours.

Re: TAPS,
He's feeling well enough to go to work today, and I think I already had it: the effects of overeating unwise food choices.

Re: Kabu,
He's feeling better, and plans to go to work today. And that--theater and teaching to replace the call center--is exactly the plan.

Re: Pat,
Your friend sounds like he is motivated, like Charlie, both to entertain and help people, and to perform for his own soul's sake.

Here's hoping that Charlie will get quickly over whatever ails him! Give him my best wishes! And while it may be a more winding road than one would want, I'm sure he will have a career in the performing arts! And when I'm sure I'm rarely wrong, LOL...

I guess that call center job is a bit demoralizing Ciel. People can get pretty rude over the phone. How nice it is to have a job one can enjoy. I can think of a few but, I won't mention them, you might object.

It's great that he is able to do that, and that he looks at it that way too. I agree with Pat-B about artists. Hope he gets well soon!

I hope he gets back on top of the weather very quickly, and that you don't catch anything that he might have had.

There's nothing like a flexible "day job" until something in performing
brings enough $$ to keep the lights on. At The Center, our wonderful guy who drives the bus & picks up older people and those who can't drive because of physical challenges or vision problems is a keyboard player who plays various gigs on weekends and evenings. He's so helpful to the passengers, carries their bags in from the grocery store, etc. I do believe people in the performing arts are really in touch with what's important in life.
