Same to you, 9STAR! Hope it's a good one for us all . . .

Re:

Good for you, TAPS. There are some things others don't need to know! We've all been there! Luckily for most of us, our little 'mishaps' probably wouldn't make the newspapers! In fact, I'll bet some of our pets would have some good dirt to dish . . . if they could talk!

Re: JimmyA

Thanks, Sir Wiley! What? You have no intentions of frying up some bacon in your altogether? What are you afraid of? You don't need to worry! There are special underpants you can wear now! Gosh I hope that idiot doesn't really make any money on that . . .

Re:

All true, Kabu, all true! As they say, you can lead a horse to water but . . . And believe it or not, I think I would much rather prefer to write a book about dummies as opposed to writing one for dummies. It would probably be more entertaining for the rest of us . . .

Re: If the Taliban did fit a big old bird with a bomb, then they've gone

You're probably right, Pat, although it is somewhat cruel to think anyone is using any kind of animal to perform such ridiculousness. I'm sure those birds couldn't care less about our petty squabbles! I think they would much rather be soaring high above it all . . .

Re:

I don't think, kasper, that there are any special geographical boundaries or limitations when it comes to stupidity. It's pretty universal . . .

Re:

That one got me too, FSI. To think that would actually work! The fun part will be, when that guy goes to jail, explaining to the other inmates why he's there! Most cons don't take too kindly to such idiots . . .

Re:

Thanks, C C T. I try to both enlighten, and entertain. At the same time, reading about such goings-on should make others feel a little better about themselves! Isn't it nice to hear about such stuff, and be able to think to yourself "Gee, I'm glad I'm not that stupid!"

Re:

That's one way to look at it, Annicita. Sometimes it is difficult to believe that we are at the top of the evolutionary ladder! You never hear or read about animals in the wild doing such idiotic things! We should learn from them . . .

Re:

Believe it or not, adnohr, once in a while I'm able to 'obtain' a copy of The New York Post, and in every issue they have a somewhat small column entitled "Weird But True." That's where I find this stuff! Of course, some are stranger than others, so I usually only pick out the best of the best! Glad you enjoyed them, and sorry if I now made you a little paranoid about going through your wood pile . . .

There's lots of crazy people in this world, doing crazy things.  I've probably done a few myself but I'm not telling about them.

There are too many goodies here to pick one out and you have given us a most interesting post. As I keep saying ...well we all keep saying, these people breed and this is scary. I mean there are a lot of dummies ....perhaps you should write a book for Dummies...One they can learn how to live in normal society by reading...of course they have to be able to read!!!!!

If the Taliban did fit a big old bird with a bomb, then they've gone

a step further than our spies - which I read once had fitted pigeons with mini-cams to do surveillance on certain areas. I suppose by now dronea have replaced the less reliable birdies...

This is just great. And I don't know why, but some of those "articles"... Well, it sounds like true carziness worldwide. The thing taking place in Norway... God, that country is straight North from Denmark. Oh man... *sigh*

There is no shortage of dummies out there...What struck me most is the guy making the fake 911 call to avoid the speeding ticket.
