Perhaps older people are more happy to relate to the wonder of life Pat.
They do not seek the artificial stimulus that is desired by youngsters.Did you ever think your Mum looked beautiful when you were a child or realize what stress she might be going through. Of course you are not guilty and time gently dims one's own suffering.
