LOl...I some how almost missed this gem of a post. Naughty Taps...no way would that car be allowed on the road still in Australia...I sometimes freak when I see the condition of older cars up here...but join her up to Blogit...there seems to be quite a few of us here that could do with some new parts or have lost bits and pieces along the highways and byways.

Re: Re: Re: Ciel

Power I don't need.  LOL.  I have a heavy foot and like to go fast, and I'm sure by now slower reflexes.  So, I don't even get on the freeways anymore.  I do the neighborhood and if I want to go further, go with someone else.

You deserve ten lashes with a wet noodle for driving a car in that condition! But it's a good thing that some Old Ladies have thoughtful Sons!

Yeah, I think a lot of people are in that same boat . . . or should I say car? Buy a new one, or keep the old one going? You made your choice . . .

Re: Re: Ciel

I was thinking of the more powerful engine you might have gotten in a new car.

Oh! dear Taps the happy car Genie has escaped. I expect you would be in jail here a car has to be tested for road worthiness every year, it would have been one happy Bobby to have picked you up.

Re: Pat_B

Yes, as an old woman I'm definitely living on the edge.  Shame on me.

Taps, I'm as good at putting things off as the next one, but

the car? You risked your life, and I for one do not want to do without the occasional haiku...
