My dear friend I am so sorry and yet happy for the end of the pain for that sweet friend that was so dear to you. You made him a very happy home and loved him dearly now be good to yourself, he is fine totally without pain. God must take them to Heaven and he can play with his friends.

Well you looked after him so kindly Adnohr. We all like to wake in the morning and find the end has come. To your doggy it was just like falling into a peaceful sleep who knows what happens after. I know you will feel sad and it brings back other memories . If I were
a doggy I would choose you to adopt me.

something said by Elizabeth Kubler-Ross: that death is like slipping out of a tight shoe. I find it helps to think on that.
