Re:Rasse
Thank you Rasse . Hope you are enjoying your return to this site. You might even be able to pay your hubby back in a year's time.

Very Sorry
I am so sorry for the loss of your cat. The line to always face them toward their home pulled at my heart. And your poem made me smile.

Re: Jimmy
I think people do get bad coughs occasionally especially if one has kept free of them for a while. Seems the same here but we older guys get a flue jab each year, I think it does help. A happy release as they say, poor old thing was not in pain.

Yeah, my wife and I have had a persistant cough over the last couple of weeks that will simply not go away! Perhaps there's something in the air ( again ). So sorry about your cat. Hopefully she died peacefully. I'm sure you gave her the best life possible . . .

Re: Justi
Thank you Justi I'll take your advice. It is tough losing pets , but if they are ill or very old one would not wish them to suffer.

Re: Naut

Yes they are lurking around looking for nice dog owners, they can look very charming. Be watchful if one strokes Ben.

Re: Taps
Good thinking Taps I find one tends to cough if lying on one's back. I'm sure you could set a trend. It would definitely look more natural.

I like what Archie said. I wouldn't have thought of that. You got me thinking. I'm going to tell Son #1 that when I die, I don't want to be on my back in the casket. I never did like lying flat on my back. I'm going to tell him to make sure that I am lying on my left side, with my arms around a soft pillow, and my legs slightly bent at the knees. That's how I'm comfy.

I'm sorry to hear your Kittie passed away! But your poem made me smile; it also reminded me how lucky I was never to have been ensnared by a witch, though I've come close...

It can be tough when one loses a pet...Sam's orange hair would be popular in Baltimore because our baseball team's colors include orange.

I'm sorry your cat has gone.
I know how hard it is, I'm glad it was an easy passage to wherever cats go.

Oh I am so sorry about your kitty cat. She did come in to say good bye to you. Maybe she wanted to rest forever now but she loved you. I just cracked up thinking of this poem. You men should never have anything to do with the witchy woman you know. Loll
