Geez! That all sounds like a vague plot for a bad soap opera! But, something tells me that this overall situation isn't all that uncommon, especially within a fairly large family. I have three brothers and two sisters, and each and every one of them has brought home at least one boyfriend or girlfriend that just did not sit right with everyone else ( a couple of 'bad' marriages too ). But, people learn from their mistakes . . .

Oh boy. I'd be finding excuses to not attend those dinners too. Life is too short, etc... As usual, another great story that puts us right there, Pat-B. You rock!
