Hail the King!
I couldn't agree more. As one of my favorite writers - if not my all-time favorite - King has been an inspiration to me since before I knew I was a writer. The first book I read of his was IT, and I was hooked ever after.
Yet, after that disaster of a movie Dreamcatcher, I was beginning to think that he'd finally gone off the deep end. Granted, he did not have full creative license on that project (at least I hope not), but still...
Sounds to me like he may be suffering from some form of shell-shock, and who could blame him? I just hope he comes back soon.
