As much of my family as possible gathers at one home on Christmas Eve ( for the longest time it was my younger sister's, now it's at one of my nieces ). I have three brothers, two sisters, fifteen nieces and nephews and six great-nieces and nephews ( with two more on the way ). With just the immediate family we can sometimes have thirty people together! Santa visits with gifts for the youngsters ( usually one of the Uncles dressed up. It used to be me, but I retired when a few of my nephews turned 30 ). Then home for some egg nog and cookies, watching Alastair Sim's "A Christmas Carol." Christmas Day, everyone pretty much keeps to themselves . . .

Roast Hedgehog, and snow mushrooms , my favorite Ricky. We can't have that any longer. So we have to have imaginative things like that stick of rock you brought back for me. Sadly I don't really need anything, I wouldn't mind one of those cars that just drive themselves or a television that covers the whole wall. Just moderate desires, How about you?
