Hi Naut just called in to say I do read your blog and agree with much you say, but like some of the others, I do not like to express an opinion that would be painful for some readers when it concerns religion. I do like the passion you portray and it is probably exciting for some people. Perchance as one becomes older one views most things with skepticism. Or more probably one does not have the intellect to express or corroborate ideas in a genuine manner. Like the farmer said I just keep my mouth shut and feel like a fool rather than open it and talk like one, although I do that very often. Keep on walking the dog.

My professor felt that Pope Benedict was in the wrong. What happened is that a peer of mine from Ethiopia stated that Benedict should not have apologized and was right in his criticism of Islam. The professor and other peers said that Benedict was wrong in feeling that way and was right in apologizing.
And for those wondering, Loyola College in Maryland is a Jesuit college. That is the Order Francis I belongs to.

Your final paragraph made me smile, almost giggle; I found I wanted to save that paragraph, say something about the wordsmith at work.....but then, the radical thought struck me that if someone ever asked me to describe you, this paragraph would do quite nicely.
